Through luck or skill, you can get one serpent to die against the other, but the tricky part is luring the other into a corner without going into it yourself. It helps to know a few things about serpent movement:

×Every 5 turns, serpents switch preferring either vertical or horizontal movement.

×If you are lined up with the serpent's head, its first choice is to move directly toward you (away from you if you are behind it). If you are not lined up, its first choice is the direction vertically or horizontally closer to you.

×Now, the serpent moves in the first possible direction from the following list:
First Choice
North
East
South
West
With that information, you should be able to choose the easier corner for trapping the serpent.
