I'm guessing this is a bug? You can create a door with some tiles open, some tiles closed. Once an orb is struck, it will affect all similar connected tiles. So if you had:
OXOXOXOXO (O=open, X=closed) and toggled the middle O, you'd end up with:
OXOXXXOXO
Then if you hit it again, you'd have:
OXOOOOOXO
etc.

This COULD be a feature, and could make for a very complicated room. Is it supposed to be a feature?

I entered it as a bug, thanks. I would rather puzzles like that be created in a more visually intuitive way.

It'll be fixed in build 21.

(Clicking on or next to a door of the opposite state will change it completely to the state of the tile being placed. This will make changing an entire door from open to closed really convenient!)
