The monster does not take kindly to it's tooth being removed. It starts growling.

>use shark tooth

You replace the sheep monster's tooth with a shark tooth. It bleats happily, and now it can show
off to its friends. He walks away, and you follow it, for no apparent reason than that
this situation is getting a little boring.

You find yourself in a large cave covered in geodes and full of sheep monsters, and there is a
hole to the outside in the roof.

Unfortunately, with the room full of sheep monsters, there is absolutley no way for you to get in. Every cubic inch of the cavern is packed with face, tentacle or some other weird or unmentionable part. You give up and turn back.

Just as you turn back to leave, you're mobbed by sheep monsters, who pick you up and carry you to the center of the cavern. After a few minutes of stepping on each other's tentacles and pushing each other's unmentionable parts away, they manage to clear a small space for you.

The sheep monsters all hold out their teeth to you and look at you expectantly. You realize that you should have brought a lot more shark teeth than you did.

The sheep monsters are unimpressed.

> Hold up Elephantine amulet

Suddenly, a hush falls over the sheep monsters. They fall to their "knees" and begin fawning obsequiously over you. You have a flashback about a dream involving sun-god robes and pickles. One of the sheep monsters rushes out of the room, returning a short time later with a large golden pair of scissors which he hands, ceremoniously to you.

You viciously stab the closest monster with the scissors, spilling its warm, purple blood onto the otherwise pristine floor. The monster looks at you with pleading, vacant eyes, and then collapses into a heap of gore. The other monsters cease their chanting in surprise. They stare at you for what seems like an eternity. Then, in unison, they jump you and tear you limb from limb. You die a painful death, and the last thing you see are your intestines being chewed like cud in the mouths of 50 green and purple sheep monsters.

You make a rousing speech, and sway the monsters to follow you wherever you may go. You convince them to aid you and provide the muscle for your quest. It's only a matter of time before you'll be ready to storm the castle!

I have no idea. Maybe the monsters know.

> ask monsters about castle

The monsters gather around you and start a small fire. Over the smell of burning marshmallows, they tell a horrifying tale about how, one day, they were just standing around in their village, minding their own business, when an Evil wizard passed through the place and, on a whim, made everyone into monsters.

They plead to you to help them getting back at him. If they were to storm his castle -- the Castle of Storms -- and kill this Evil wizard, they might be able to regain their true form!

Your fingers are getting cold.

the monsters don't know where the Castle of Storms is. However, they tell you that they would go search for it if they could just stop their itching and get out of this cave.

The monsters make a good faith effort to comply with your suggestion, but their lack of prehensile thumbs makes the room look more like a boiling pot of spaghetti than a back-scratching convention.

Faced with the prospect of being "dipped", the monsters stop complaining about the itching for what seems like an eternity to each of them, but after about 3 seconds of real time, they begin to break down and complain again. Not being one to compromise, you begin throwing monsters into "the dip" but soon all the monsters are in the dip and you have noone to help you get to the Castle of Storms or out of this cave. Later you die from starvation.

You say to the monsters, "they should help you", but it has no effect, since they do not understand what you're talking about.

You then try to give them something from your inventory, but all of them are so itchy that they can hardly concentrate on what you're doing, and so that has no effect either.

>Inspect sheep monsters' wool.

You inspect the wool closely, and find that the sheep have been infected with Woolies. They are accumulating the sheep monsters' wool into clumps, caoting them with saliva, and scratching the monsters' skin with it, so causing the itch, since the monsters are allergic to Woolie Saliva.

It looks like you'll need to remove all the wool somehow from the monsters, since the Woolies appear to have gotten themselves completely entangled in it, and cannot be pulled out.

>Use Sorrowful Butterknife (of legend) on sheep monsters' wool.

You try to use the knife to shear the monsters, but you find it is too blunt. You're going to need to find something else sharper.

You try to use the scissors on the wool of the nearest sheep monster. It growls.

>Point

You point at the wall and say "Wow! Look at that!", which distracts the monster long enough
for you to take a large clump of its wool off. After realising that it isn't itching as much, it
lets you cut the rest off. You the proceed to shear all the rest of the sheep, using the rotten
herring as sustenance, even though it is rotting and now covered in dirt and yoghurt.

>Tell sheep to make pyramid

The sheep monsters don't know what a pyramid is. Or what you're saying.

>Make small pyramid from teeth

You attempt to make a small pyramid from the jars of teeth you have, and show
what a pyramid looks like. The monsters seem to understand, and climb on
top of one anohter in a very hap hazard fashion to make a slightly
wobbly lump that might resemble a pyramid if you were looking at it from
a few miles away.

>climb pyramid

You reach the cave ceiling and climb through the hole. Unfortunately, the monsters cannot follow you yet, since they are part of the pyramid, and cannot climb over each other without destabilising the structure.

It suddenly collapses with a large crash and many annoyed bleating noises. You look around for something that you could use to make a ladder to get the monsters out, but there is no vegetation nearby strong enough top act as a ladder, nor is there anything that even closely resembles a rope.

You look down the hole and see the monsters aimlessly milling around, walking backwards and forwards in a semi-random fashion. Looking up again, you see a lemming hopping past you and scuttling down a burrow. Immediately, you are inspired!

>Point at monster.

You carefully select one monster, and follow its position, pointing your finger at it.

>Use Builder.

>Query available command tools.

You do this, and realise you have none to command anything with in the first place. Your flash of inspiration fades, until you suddenly think of something else. You could still carry out an action yourself, even if you can't make the monsters do so.

>Search for sand.

You scout the nearby area, and find a large patch of sandy ground.

>Scoop up sand.

You find you have nothing to scoop up the sand with, so you try to use your hands. Unfortunately, you cannot seem to hold the sand properly - it keeps trickling out of your hands.

>Use sticky mud on wool.

You combine the wool with the mud and shape the resulting sticky mass into the shape of a crude container. You leave it to dry in the sun for a few minutes.

You now have a muddy wool bucket.

>Use bucket on sand.

You scoop up a hefty amount of sand, and, in spite of the small trickles out of the holes in the bucket that you missed, you obtain quite an amount of it.

>Pour sand into cave.

You do this, and send a shower of sand onto the monsters below, who are not very amused by it. The cave is many times the size of the bucket, and you realise you would need to make many tens of thousands of trips in order to get enough sand to create a large enough sand pile to reach the hole in the ceiling. You somehow need to find a faster way of filling the cavern.
