The Channel 5 game show is coming to the DROD Forums, yes guys, it's the mole.

The idea of the game is that a team of 11 try to win money by completing challenges set by me. The catch is that one member of the team is a mole and wants the team to lose money.

After each challenge or two everyone must answer a quiz about the identity of the mole. The player with the least amount of correct answers is eliminated from the game.

Anyone interested in playing please post here and you will recieve further instructions via PM.

Haha, it looks like DROD reality gaming is coming into full bloom. I played a game on another board once where I was the mole. I think the creator of the board let it fall into disarray, though, so it's gotten kinda ugly.

But yeah, I'll play!

The only thing I'm going to help you out with is the art of Localtime tags. Since you are in GMT, it's even easier. Just type in [localtime]02/26/2004 17:00[/localtime], and everyone will see what time it is in their timezone without having to do any math conversions : Local Time:02-26-2004 at 05:00 PM

Just a future suggestion:

I'm assuming that everybody got their questions right except for the mole. That's great, except we have no idea who that one person is. That means that when we fill out our quizzes, we'll have no hunch whatsoever about who it might be. If, say, we had posted our answers publicly, interesting results could have happened. For example, non-mole players could have posted incorrect answers in order to persuade people that they're the mole in order to distract them from the real one. Likewise, the mole might initially perform well on challenges, just to throw off the scent.

My suggestion is that you make challenges performed publicly, or separate the players into little groups where they can work together. It will add the life to the concept of the game.

The other thing you can do is have the results publically released after the challenge. In the game, some people have strategies to make it look like they are the Mole, and they do it to confuse the heck out of everyone else.

We can all thank MeckMeck for PMing me the incorrect answer. Soz m8 the second PM was correct but I am tight so took your first answer. btw. could you all please PM me:

1) What year the mole registered on DROD.net.
2) What question the mole answered.
3) At what time in the day the mole announced their intention to play.
4) How many times the mole has posted so far in this thread.
5) Who the mole is.

I have done the quiz this way so that I don't have to e-mail everyone. Can you please tell me whether this is a good idea?

I think, for fairness, I should point out that LeForce asked me to answer question 1 (at the moment I don't appear on the list).

Edit - how do we post the time of a post - they will appear different depending on what time zone we have set it to..

Out of everyone who has given me an answer (excludind the mole):

2 people got 0 correct answers,
2 people got 1 correct answer,
1 person got 2 correct answers,
2 people got 3 correct answers,

This leaves 3 people who haven't answered yet!

I will be asking the mole to decide on who leaves the game.

The mole cannot choose you if you have answered correctly any questions, they will be discouraged to choose anyone who has answered a question correctly.

I bet you can't wait to see who has left us, it could be anyone. If any of you wishes to plea on the board to the mole as to why they should stay, feel free!

because frankly, I'm confused. How am I supposed to know who the mole is (other than guessing)? Do you want to know who I THINK the mole is? are we voting someone off the island here? What are we doing? And why do I have to do it in this weird circumspect way? Why can't I just PM you the name?

10 people, 5 questions. You can answer the questions to different people to make sure that you have a 50% or even higher chance for one is right.... I think.......
