Rules for voting:
1. Each poll question asks you to rate how well you liked a recording on a scale of 1 (hated it) to 10 (want to marry it). The questions reference entries found in the original
Grand Audition topic.
2. Listen to every sample that is a valid entry (only entries with numbered subjects, i.e. "
#39"
, are valid). Record your ratings on a piece of paper or text document. I seriously recommend that you don't begin voting while you are listening to recordings. There is a fair chance, especially with the server load from people listening to recordings, that your voting will get interrupted midway, and we'll have an incomplete set of votes to remove with administrator magic (a.k.a. tedious work). So copy your votes to a scratchpad, then begin voting for this poll.
3. If the server is slow responding to your clicks, that is probably because a lot of people are trying to download recordings at once. Don't click on links repeatedly--it makes the server get even slower. Click once. Wait at least 30 seconds. Try clicking again. Wait another 30 seconds. If the delay is too long for you, just come back later after things have calmed down.
4. When giving an entry a rating, try not to take into account the recording environment. Some of us don't have the time or money to configure our systems properly for recording. This contest is about judging acting talent and creativity as expressed by one's voice.
