Why is the Post edited thing in 12 hour time, but the time the post was made at the side is in 24 hour time?

That sentence looks like a grammatical nightmare to me.

The edit tags in post are able to display when it was edited according to your time zone thanks to the [localtime] tags. I guess it doesn't have support for 24 hour time...
