In my playthrough of A Courageous Rescue, minus the first chapter, I found myself moving between levels a lot, going back to check for resources that I could now get for free. Every time I did, the process of pathfinding between rooms was slowed down by having to either walk to the stairs manually, or click on them.

Therefore, I'm requesting that, let's say, ctrl-wait, should cause the player to pathfind to the nearest accessible staircase if one exists in the current room.

There is a scroll in the Entrance room of the second level of Chapter 2 telling you that ctrl-wait pathfinds to the nearest staircase.
