Here are my current assumptions about this room. Clearly one of them is wrong, but I'm not sure which.

1. I need the bombardier to push me so that I can double cut the 2x4 tar blob and release that pressure plate. Therefore this entire blob of tar must be gone before I can do things with the keg and briar.
2. I need to remove both briar and have someone step on the south plate to open the NW yellow door.
3. I need to have the bombardier blow up the keg to remove the briar.
4. I cannot remove either briar without igniting one of the three fuse ends.
5. Once a fuse end is lit, there is not enough time to open the NW yellow door and step on the conquer token before the bomb blows up the 2x2 tar blob. This is true even if I use clever tricks to have Beethro in NW when the keg explodes.
6. It is not possible to use the bombardier to blow up the bomb without also removing the 2x2 tar blob at the same time. If it was possible to do this, then I could safely remove the briar without caring if the fuse ends got ignited, thus allowing me to solve the room
I have no idea how a lone orthosquare helps here. I get that can use it to force the bombardier to step orthogonally, but I don't see how that could ever help me. I can also have the bombardier push a keg diagonally against the force arrow to blow it up, but then I'm only ever destroying one briar and that conflicts with assumption 2 from above.
