Currently, the skeleton key marker for the minimap is just a grey version of the blue key marker. Which could get confusing if you're making already collected items go greyscale on the minimap. So I'd like to request that it be changed to something more distinct. And maybe with a little color as well, so people will be able to tell if it goes greyscale.

It's actually differently shaped to the blue key marker but it's subtle because it has to be small. The expectation was to remove the key markers when you're done with them, but fair enough that people might choose to greyscale them to mark them as used up.

True that this icon is already greyscale, maybe another effect should be applied too, like renaming it to "Faded" and multiplying the alpha by 0.8. I'm not sure I could meaningfully add colour to the icon.
