I did a simple test. If you have a custom character with some sort of special values applied to their color modifyers in the settings panel, it won't apply if you set the player role to that character. But it should.

Actually, why not have variables to control the players colors as well? Setting them to -9999 would do the default from the character settings.

(Not being dismissive, just cleaner for the bug tracking system).

It would have to be via the route of _Color, _Hue and _Saturation variables, reaching into the default scripting and options of a custom character for it would be a whole can of worms.
