The recent release of The Descent of King Hesper has me wondering if and when Steam Workshop support will ever be added? It would be awesome!

The game has already supported downloading custom holds directly inside the game for almost 20 years now, it just needs a CaravelNet subscription like all the online services. The Holds board on this forum has otherwise been the hub for all of the user-made custom levels.

The game is also widely available on other storefronts that wouldn't get to use Steam Workshop.

Given this, I imagine focusing development effort on Steam Workshop integration is unlikely, not everyone would get to use it and it would split up where user content gets published.

Not to mention - Steam Workshop would be generally lower quality than the Holds board, because we have decent guards on what gets promoted.
