DROD Steam version is slow changing custom styles (+1)

This happens whenever there's a change to a custom style, in the editor or hold select or room/level transitions. The steam version is very slow compared to the gog version I also have, and both are updated to latest v5.1.1.624 with the same holds and styles installed.

You can see the steam version to the left and gog to the right in the video. Steam version really struggles.
