Three in one day! Either I'm doing something right or really wrong - and maybe, just maybe, I should be looking into solving some of these myself.

In any case, the in-game chat is inaccessible when testing a room. It's available in the editor, but once you're hit F5 and begin testing it no longer responds.

... and so then I tested it in normal play, and it turns out it doesn't respond there either. Glad I did the bare minimum testing.

Actually, it's worse than that - space doesn't dismiss messages in the editor, so sometimes you have to wait for them to disappear before you can see that part of your room again.

Should I make a separate bug report to say that neither F6 (demos) nor F1 (help) work in-game? It's not about the keys, but about the behaviour, as remapping doesn't help.

I'll fix that as part of this since the root cause is the same. (the cause is me being foolish)
