- I can't do anything useful until turn 30, I have to wait at the entrance.
- After that, it's best to enter right away, so that the gel babies in the middle don't move too far from the center.
- First I have to go to (28,16) to kill the roach, because later there will be no opportunity to do so.
- Then I have to skirt around the babies to the corridor in the west, to kill the trapped roach.
- During this process I have to smite a gel baby that's coming for me.
- Also, I have to fry the northwestern roach by stepping into the water before it reaches the pressure plate.
- Then I have to go to the center and kill the mother and the remaining babi(es?).
The problem: to do that, I'd either have to approach the center in row 18 and step onto (17,19) from the NW, or approach in row 19, but have the wraithwing before me to shield me from the last baby. But neither approach works: the briar grows to row 18 in turn 100, and it usually kills the wraithwing, because it tends to end up in row 18.
Other approaches were also unsuccessful: running to the west and ignoring the eastern roach makes it unkillable later, while waiting for a few turns in the beginning and then going for the center from the west makes it possible to deal with the center, but then the briar closes off the western corridor and the northwestern roach survives.
So, what's the trick?
Edit: H&S effect! For posterity: assumption 2 is not necessarily correct, though it doesn't seem to matter that much.

×Some demos do it without waiting, but for me it was the waiting and the resulting gel baby positions that enabled the right wraithwing setup.
