This is like one of those Architect's Revenge rooms.
"The delver must step on one of the conquer tokens, but doing so, he traps himself in one of the squares forever!
Even if he arranges one of the roaches to step on the plate that frees him, then that roach will become trapped, again inaccessible forever!
Hence, the room is impossible!!!"
There must be a trick, but I'm not seeing it.
