I like the idea!

Reminds me vaguely of the monolith gags that have been set up here and there, though I'm unaware of those locations having any particular significance.

The trapdoor is just a single room tile. If I recall correctly, Erik listed these as being 5-feet square.

Anyone who does this and takes a pic gets at least a free prize from the Prize Pile. And huge community cred.

Indeed a crazy idea. May I suggest that the trapdoor has DROD written on it?

I feel that it sort of ruins the reference if it is made that blatantly obvious, and also kind of mars the aesthetic appeal of the trapdoor by having anything written on it, not just the word "DROD."
