Now that the bar is making jokes again, I was finally able to watch a certain small animation whenever I had the patience to click the bar repeatedly until it played.

And I've extrapolated this.



I got all the sprites for the mysterious "female Beethro" character, that some call "Shethro". These can be put into the game, except she's only ever been seen facing these four directions. (The swords are just taken from the normal Beethro tiles, so at least that part is complete.)

So, as long as you only let her face one of these directions, you should be good.

But there are boobs (albeit I agree, she should have bigger)? Unless you've meant something else

I like the sprite, now you need to make a portrait in vein of DROD and maybe someone talented will make a hold about Beethro's sister. That would be totally awesome.

I never got around to writing it, and maybe it's good I didn't...

New SMS: Beethro Falls in Love

She would have been another smitemaster, ugly like Beethro, holding her own in the Great Beneath. The sprite above would have worked perfect.

I couldn't make the pieces fit. Was it a sincere love story inside of a dungeon crawl? That made me wince. It's not a movie or book. People are playing a game here.

I liked the idea of her having a chip on her shoulder about unfair treatment of women vs men, and thought of decent jokes around that. But then those jokes needed something else to balance the message. And that would have been cumbersome, over-compensating, heading back into the wincing sincerity.

It could be done, but I never solved it. Writing has puzzles too.
