Best I have done is killing 1 goblin.

I manage to get the southernmost goblin one space into the circular passage but with the other two on my heels, I don't have time to swing the sword, and when beethro gets near the passage he gets pounced on...

Did you have the snake block the other goblins for the amount it should? Did you move around a bit to trap the gobs?
