Greetings, fellow smitemasters!

I'm trying to create a dark, cloudy area that requires lights. I have the basic ideas of lights down, like brightness and colors, and I know they can be triggered with orbs and pressure plates. Here's the thing though: I want some lights off as you enter a room. I don't see any way to change the lights themselves without having some one-use pressure plates at every entrance to turn them off upon entry. Is there a way to have the lights off by default?

You can add a scripted NPC that executes a light toggle as the first action. But don’t quote me on that.
