Well, I went to Belmont on Saturday in the hopes of seeing the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years. Unfortunately, there was none. The same thing happened last year when I went, which really sucks. The weather was also quite bad. It was pouring the entire time, and where I was (right on the fence, within 10 feet of where the horses were running) there was no cover. I was soaked by the time the race was over.

Oh well. Next year I'll go again, even if there's no horse bidding for the Triple Crown. Eventually there'll be a winner, and when that happens I hope to be there, standing by the fence as the horses run by. Until that day...well I'll just keep handicapping and betting and going to the track and hoping.
