I am entering from the 3rd entrance (the one that gives me access to the mimic)
Assumptions:

×1. This is the entrance that lets me clear the room

×2. The mimic is the only thing that can kill the rattlesnake, and therefore must be placed on its platform.

×3. To kill the tar, I must hit orb #1.
To gain access to it, I must hit orb #2.
To gain access to it, I must clear the red door, for which I need to hit orb #3.
That orb closes the access to the north area, meaning I can never get to the tar.
Where am I wrong? Is there some weird rattlesnake interaction with wraithwings that I am not aware of?
