There was some discussion around the end of the year about maybe doing this again, and I would like to get my first hold published this year, so consider this my new year's resolution.

As always there are no real rules for this. Just do more architecture! For myself, I'll be trying to do a room a day for the month of January.

I'm in, going for at least 30 rooms this month. My general plan for this month is to play around with mechanisms that involve doors opening without the player's direct input.

I'm in too. Just posting here to get a spot near the top of the thread. I recommend anyone else planning to participate do the same.

Made a room. From past experience I think the best way to do these productively is to not care too much about adhering to a strict one-per-day schedule or caring too much about how good the rooms are, so I'll probably be updating semi-randomly.

With three minutes left until the end of 1 January, I made a room :P Nothing special, just a trapdoor puzzle to get me back into the swing of making rooms.

1E: I am not sure how tar makes this room easier. I just did it with gel.

1N1E: Wow, slayer is interesting with bombs, hunh? Neat room.

1N: Looks like slayer has to hit orbs at the same time as Beethro. Will try to do this one tomorrow when I'm not half asleep.

Demos for Fogel:
I did these last night actually but never got around to posting.

Entrance: Fun brain pathing room. The remote-door-manipulation theme works well here.

1W: Neat room concept. Seems the corpse, mirror, and keg all work for making ice. In guess the briar manipulates the door remotely.

1E: Not sure what the intention was with this room. I just sort of killed everything.

1S: The tunnel should maybe be blocked by a green door, otherwise the player doesn't need to be disarmed ever.

2S: The remote door manipulation theme is pretty vague here, but I really enjoyed the room. I always like rooms where you use elements like rock corpses and kegs to set up your work area and this one had a really nice balance.
