I have tried cutting this tar in so many different patterns to leave for mother to expand and end up clearable but to no end - I would appreciate any guidance here

after a few hours in this room I figured that must be the case but even as I get them to block some of the new growth it still ends unclearable, guess I'll keep trial and erroring it...solved finally, thanks again for the help
