I've been staring at this room for a while, and I know exactly what it's asking of me, but I just can't think that many growth cycles ahead.

Could I get some help in narrowing down which trapdoor paths to leave intact?

I recommend trying to get to one plate at a time, because it turns out that there's a certain shape that's really important for all the plates, and so if you figure out any one of them, you'll probably have a good idea about how to go about the rest.

It turns out there isn't all that much choice in things, once your start cutting out paths that fail because they spawn babies.
