The thread about how to run your own contest makes several references to a "contest coordinator" who should be contacted in order to request approval to create a contest, but the links to the contest coordinator appear to be dead.

So who does one ask about the possibility of running a contest exactly? How does the process go?

Unofficial contests can just be run.

The process for making a contest Official is currently somewhat unclear.


Also, wow that post is horrifically out of date. Some one needs to go through and purge all the department referencing stuff.
