Deja vu... : 1st Floor (again?) : Entrance (eighth) (0)

Can't get this one. Have to kill the serpent at (10,16), but I can't figure out a good way how to. I get something stuck in the trap at (15,15) every time I try to send roaches/wraithwings through the middle. Even if I could get something through there without the traps,then I have to somehow guide a roach/wraithwing in/out of the serpent area, which seems just as difficult...
