Just as a general thing that's good to know, you can push platforms "under" force arrows in a direction opposite the arrow as long as you aren't moving against a force arrow yourself in the process.

the platform is too large to get across the arrows. I can't get past the pressure plate. I'm sure I'm missing something STUPID as usual

The platform has a "hole" in its center; if you're standing to the east of the hole and move west, it pushes the entire platform to the west, regardless of whether or not that puts some tiles you're not directly interacting with under force arrows. You want to get the platform west enough to make the pressure plates not in its way, and then try to get yourself across the disabled force arrow.

Looking at your picture, I'm confused...did you not already get past those arrows once to get the spear? Or else, I have to marvel at your rock golem/platform/sword manipulation skills!

Anyway, maybe you're overlooking that platforms don't have to be steered by their corners?

So I must have (mis)read in haste and thought Fusion was optional. That said this is my last room, I'm stymied trying to get the rock golem/piles to the plates in column 24.

I suppose it needs to be alive to follow me through because I can't push anything throgh, but having trouble getting a live one there.

Final room so at least there's that.
