If the player undos to the turn where a Play Video command was executed, the video clip will be played, and afterwards the video will be overlapping the game interface, like this:



The interface becomes normal again when the screen's rerendered.

Does anyone have a test hold handy that uses play video? Or know of a released hold that does it? (looking for something smaller than TCB)

There are no released holds that use it, unless they do in super-secret hidden scripting.

Thank you Xindaris.

I was unable to reproduce the exact state as in the image on latest dev build, but I amanged to get the scroll to draw incorrectly.

I've made it so that after every video finishes playing (so also happens between two videos if they are queued) the whole screen is refreshed to avoid any artifacts.

Is the video in Xindaris's example hold meant to turn into just a full screen of purple for a while towards the end?

Anyway this is not quite working for me in 5.1.1.alpha.2020-10-29. Watching the video is fine, but if I play on the undo to the video turn, I have to watch the whole video again and then this happens:

So, at first I thought it'd be funny if the video was just "me throwing the room together", but then I realized the bug is kind of hard to see with that video because the interface from the video looks very similar to how the interface should look. So then I just made a second, short video of just the color (I thought) blue, to make it more obvious, and played that after the first video.

For testing purposes, the first video isn't really necessary, but...whatever.
