You might remember Why would anyone do this? No. 001 and how it crushed your dreams of solving every hold in the architecture without help.

Here comes No. 002. The good news? It's easier and more reasonable. The bad news? The puzzle area is about 822 times larger (yes, you read it right - over eight hundred times). It features a cool gimmick.

The same rules apply as the last time, anyone who has solved it before I put it here I'd be grateful if you could refrain from hints and sharing a solution.

But this time let's have a hard time limit for no-hints. Feel free to discuss it here and on 8th I'll answer to any requests.

Good luck!

I'll just mention here that I was able to solve this one reasonably quickly. Considering that I still have no clue on how to solve #001, I would agree that this one is quite a bit easier. The clues made sense and were just the right amout of cryptic for me.

Also a really impressive looking gimmic, which no doubt someone is going to abuse to make infinitely large Drod rooms or something.

I'm guessing the solution involves walking to a particular square (or squares) and then pressing the special command key.

There are 1000000 squares so certainly plenty of possibilities.

Is there math involved?

That's the hints you get from the game, along with your current position. Just so you know I was very deliberate with my wording.

To answer your questions:
1. There is no math involved, at least nothing 8 year old couldn't do.
2. You're supposed to step ona a tile and press the command key.
3. There are more pits. There could be even more but they are only covering the simplest cases.

Really at this point this is the only hint you need if you haven't figured out the proper sequence yet. I tried to be subtle with the hint.

Oh and also this part is very subversive, it has double meaning:
