I just posted a reply in the Hints and Solutions forum, and while I was typing Patrick got a reply in before me. Once I had posted my reply I went back to the main forum listing, and saw there was still an unread post in Hints and Solutions, except my post was the most recent one there. Seems the forum didn't realise that I'd seen Patricks, because that thread was still showing as new.

Oops, he edited his post and that's what happened. I'll leave the thread around until some nice mod decides it serves no purpose, so that if someone else has the same thing happen to them they will know that it's not a site error, but a user error.
