This was a straightforward level. Could you explain the hint? It makes sense, but how exactly does it relate to the room?

It's just a description for the behaviour of the scripted monsters with the pressure plate that cycles the fire traps. One turn, two turns, three turns, two turns, three turns, two turns, etc.
