But the golem can only step on it if I'm in the same column, the eye can't be woken up, and the adder is trapped until the pressure plate is activated.

This leaves the goblin.

From messing around, I think I could scare the goblin over to the plate if I could get the golem to (4,22) and leave the wall at (5,20) intact. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do that without letting the golem cross the plate, which blocks me off from the tunnel.
