Well, as of 2:30 today I am now a Candidate of Philosophy...hopefully only two more years until I get my Ph.D. in Physics! And actually get a real job! Yay!

I learned the hard way--you should get your Ph.D. because it is something you really want, not because you can't think of anything else to do. Or because you think it will be easy. Or because all your friends are doing it. Or for the glamour.
