Horray for cross-country trips by car because the parents are too stupid to hire a Uhaul and hitch the car to the back of it. I wonder how they managed to survive long enough to produce me sometimes, I really do.
Anyway, the trip was killer. We got to see cool landmarks, most of the states in the Union, and miles and miles and more miles of... you guessed it: flat space with the occasional cow.
If I didn't have my laptop I don't know what I'd have done.
Anyway we're now settled in the new appartment and loving every minute of it. My only gripe is that we brought two laptops, so one adult can work and I can play and the other one can drive around sightseeing. Unfortunately the second laptop had a hard drive fault and now fails to boot. So now I'm all pissed 'cause I'm operating on third-hand internet time. Usually the parents are monopolizing the lines, but right now it's worse. I'm writing this in the 10 minutes I have 'cause they're buying a bed using an unsecure wireless network. Not ours though, so the reception freezes something awful.
I am going to go insane.
If anyone can reccomend a bookstore within reasonable bus-ride or walk of Yarrowwood Heights please do so before my brain implo*POP*
