In TwT:2N, after the roach is dead, the monster that kills it just stands there and every time you move, its sword just brightens up a bit and gets dim again.

Weird environmental rendering.

Happens blatently in RPG too.

It would be nice to address this.

I think this is fixed in 5.1.1 and RPG 1.2.8, but I forget exactly how to reproduce it at this point and I can't confirm on my end.
