Surely that's impossible...It would take ten moves to get to an opening in the first place and then it would take loads more moves to kill all the goblins...the tar will have definitely grown by then...surely? I just don't believe it can be done.

Can anyone give me any tips on this challenge? It seems impossible. Rabscuttle's advice has only confused me more - unless I'm missing something, once you hit the breakable block, you have three spare moves to get the goblins out of the way, and every other move has to be either sword turning on travelling towards the tar mother. How?!

I can't figure this one out (and because the demo you posted is for AE, I can't play it in my non-AE version and really don't want to play AE through to level 16 to watch the demo), so I think I need a bit more (just the first few turns after breaking the wall will probably be enough.)

This puzzle got me grinding for an hour as well. Took a peek at vinheim's attempt and figured it out from there.
Problem is; the challenge won't trigger, neither in-game nor through Steam.

I do kill the tar mother on turn 30, don't know if that is why, maybe I have to kill her before turn 30.

There's a known bug in this room because the challenge was grafted on to an existing script :~( If the tar mother spawns on a previous visit to the room, the script will End and you'll never get the challenge on subsequent visits. One of the classic blunders we tell architects to watch out for these days.

To get round this, use Restore -> Room Start to get a "clean slate" version of the room. If you step on a checkpoint (in another room) before restoring, you can subsequently restore to that checkpoint to regain your progress.
