Without fully understanding the slayer's hook turning rules, I can't see how this can be solved. The timer is pretty unforgiving. A few pointers would be helpful.

First off, here's a combination of timing that I had (doing better is good) and a couple tips.

It is ok to leave babies in the maze until after you hit the plate (but it isn't necessary to do so)

I used a certain slayer trick most of the time

I killed certain things by certain turns.

This may or may not be enough; feel free to ask further questions.
