Hi

Wraithwings are kind of underdogs in DROD, in my opinion. Only few puzzles in KDD are based on wraithwings. This is because
1) wraithwings are very cowardous and usually harmless even if you turn your back on them !
2) In groups, they are still quite easy to fight, perhaps even easier than roaches. No other monster will spare Beethro when given opportunity to kill him !

Zapwings would be more dangerous....

1. It could look like a wraithwing with glowing blue outline
2. It is electrified - when Beethro kills one, he is shocked and paralyzed for one turn. This means he can only press 5 in next tun after killing zapwing. This would make hunting them more tricky.
3. Single zapwings would be cowards, too.
4. Zapwings would be more aggressive - they would attack not when there are some other flyers around, but when they see any monsters close to Beethro. (say 2 or more) Then they would switch to common roach behaviour.... when the nearest monsters are killed, zapwings keep the distance again.

Basically, it would be more deadly wraithwing.
