I'll say what a lot of people say - can you be more specific? are you stuck on a level? do you want to make a puzzle with goblins in? do you just not like them? The only real way to kill a goblin is to get it up against a wall or trapped in between some other monsters, anyway.

If you don't understand a monsters behaviour, goto the editor and place the monster in the middle. Press F5 to test the room and see how the monster behaves. Start adding obstacles, other monsters, a brain, etc. You'll be able to how how you should react to each monsters move, and you'll have did it without any help!
