Guess the number of rooms in TSS (+1)
Here's a quick, impromptu official forum contest for April. Each forum user may submit one guess as to how many rooms are in the official TSS hold.
The player guessing the closest number of rooms in the TSS hold, without going over, wins first prize: a free copy of DROD: The Second Sky (or another item of their choice from the Prize Pile), plus 100 rank points.
Second place (next closest without going over) receives three free months of CaravelNet service and 50 rank points.
Third place receives one free month of CaravelNet service and 25 rank points.
Contest entries are posted openly here, in this thread. You may change your guess up till the time the answer is posted and the winners are announced. This will occur on the day TSS is released, before the game is available for download. I expect there will be 2-3 weeks till that date, when submissions can be posted, but that's only a rough estimation. You may change your guess in response to other guesses posted here, but whatever guess I see in your post at the time I scan it for applying ranking is the one that will be used.
Your entry must be a unique guess. That is, you may not post the same number of rooms as another entry.
If there's any ambiguity as to the number of rooms in your submission, we reserve the right to disqualify your entry.
Anyone with inside knowledge is ineligible to enter, as they already have a copy of the game. From these individuals, please no kibitzing, winks or nudges, naturally.
