Gigantic Jewel Lost : Goblin Woods : 3 West (0)

This room is killing me. I'm p sure I do the first 2 blobs as fast as possible, but to be sure, I've attached a pic of how far the briar is when I start on the third. Can I do the first part quicker? And if not, can I get a hint on clearing the final part?

If you start from the biggest blob you don't have to kill all the gel babies before moving on to the next blob.
