I, and a lot of other DROD users, I am sure, still use Windows XP, even though it is slowly dying and losing support. So the question is begged: "Will TSS suporrt Windows XP?" I hope it will, because I don't have any other Operating Systems.

I can't answer to this question as I am not a part of development team.

But you should really stop using XP, as it will become a risk for your security because Microsoft stops offering support for XP.
I recommend upgrading to 7 or 8, if your computer can run them.

Alternatively you can use Linux, which is a free system.

The support ends on 8.4.2014.

Thanks for the advice! What I was trying to get to is that I can not afford a Windows 8 though, most unfortunately.

Yes, AFAIK, DROD:TSS will run fine on Windows XP.

Without Microsoft's support, you must not go online with a XP computer because of online exploits.

For playing DROD, it should be fine.

On the contrary actually - a defunct OS has less attention from hackers/scripters etc than an OS in the spotlight. No-one writes MS-DOS viruses anymore right? In the same vein, XP SP3 is probably one of the most secure OS's out there

Ok, wrong term. "Not emerging" and probably the most patched MS product there is.

My point was addressing the "buy a newer OS or you're in trouble". I believe the opposite and my XP box confirms that
