I'm a fighter, and I'm on chapter 3, and I sometimes find Jotunn or... I forget the other species of giant... in the woods sometimes.

Anyway, they generally beat me to a pulp. I've got the chainmail and the amulet, which help somewhat... Is there a particular weapon I should use on them?

And is there any other advice I could get on fighting giants?

Probably need to level up more, and try to find some good armor. Make sure you are careful with dodging when they cue.

With some training you should be able to avoid all of their attacks.

Regular rocky muscle giants I find go down really quick when you whack them with a hammer. Jotunn are something else though, once you flee from one maybe try asking the NPCs about them.

Bergrisi. I had to smile at their name as it practically shows what they are in german "Bergriese".

And Muspell (the fire giants).

You can upgrade your armour to dragonscale...
