Question to Heroine's Quest players: how are you controlling the combat system, do you use the mouse or the keyboard? Is support for joysticks and gamepads something we should be looking into in the future?

Using the keyboard shortcut scheme (qweadzxc123) works best for me, I find it quite intuitive. Gamepads, for me, in an adventure game, are optional at best. Switching to it when going into combat would feel cumbersome in my opinion and designing a whole adventure game around gamepad controls is an ugly can of worms, I don't think it would be worth the effort.

I don't think gamepad controls should be a priority - the basic controls works really well already, and people are going to be playing with mouse+keyboard already.

It would be cool to have keyboard shortcuts for the special techniques though (or have more emphasis in case they exist and I just didn't know how).

Having (sorceress) maneuvers like Disruption or Blessing on a button-press would be cool, but I'm not sure how you'd map it. The 8-directional combat controls map really well already.
