As far as I know, there's nothing stopping anyone from voting in undesired ways in a contest poll. There are currently two types of poll: single select, and multiple select. What about a third one that will automatically generate the same number of polls as there are options, and when you select a radio button it deactivates the similar buttons?

For example, you have seven entries in a contest. The poll automatically generates seven polls (who should win first, who should win second, etc). You choose an entry for first place, and then all the other radio buttons for that entry become inactive, so you can't put the same entry as both first and second. This would probably involve javascript or server-side verification to pull off.

But, yeah, Schik will either do this or have a poll that remembers everyone's answers, and then we code up something specially for each contest.
