I'm really bad at goblins, really, really bad. I can never defeat two goblins in a wide open space. Could someone create a hold with a victory demo on how to deal with them? Thanks in advance!

It's usually (depending on the original configuration) impossible to kill two goblins in a wide-open space. Normally what you need to do is to pull or push them out of the wide-open space next to a wall or into a tight passageway.

Have you played on the fool's errand? It has about 20 goblins in one room, no walls apart from the ones at the side.

even so that room has entrances which are narrow

When you're next to the wall at the side, you're not in a wide open space.
