I know I need to kill the top left roach first but how do I keep the other roaches from getting stuck?

I find it easiest to kill the bottom roach first.

Now I'm trying to kill the bottom one first but I can't get it to the top arrow. Here's a picture to better explain my point. I try to get the roach to 1 but can only get it to 2 and if I try to get it farther it gets stuck at 3.

Get it to the bottom left corner, then get it beneath the arrow pointing down.
