A stupid brain causes all monsters in the room to move with un-brained motion. However, the stupid brain makes each monster think that it's located at the brain's location rather than at its current location. If there's more than one stupid brain in the room, then the one that is closest to Beethro is the "active brain". In a room with both brains and stupid brains, monsters will use brained motion and the stupid brain's location to determine a move.

For example, let R be a roach, B be Beethro and S be a stupid brain:
R...B...S

In this situation, the roach will think that it's at S, and so will want to move to the west rather than to the east.

If R was a roach queen instead of a roach, then it would move to the east instead of the west.

In this example, let - be Beethro's RBS(TM) and G be a goblin, and X be walls:
......X
..GB-SX
......X

A goblin standing at S would move NW to get around beethro's sword, so the goblin in this picture moves NW.

I think this could lead to some interesting monster manipulation puzzles.
