Well there is violence, with blood.
(But what I do find slightly weird is that Jayisgames announces not publishing games rated "red" in the "Adult" category but has no such upper limit on "Violence" category. Not that I ever came across a violent game there, at lest by browsing the puzzle and strategy games.)

I also find it weird. The bloodshed and violence in the game is cartoony and best, and there are absolutely *no* adult situations or Earthly bad language in DROD. So how could the game possibly have those rankings?

I think you can see how the rating was arrived at. There is lots of blood in the game.

So really, it's just that the rating system is being followed in an objective way, without adjusting for what the perceived level of offense ought to be. The bureaucrat in me says that the rating is exactly correct.

Also, we got ourselves a bloody game. Own it!

I suppose you two are correct, just I would hate to see people being turned away from the game because of its mature content. Perhaps skell should create a bloodless setting that turns the blood invisible.

I was just wondering if it could be drug references that got us a orange rating as orange is the first threshold for drugs.

Or we could just start a petition. "Just because we hold ourselves to a lower standard than the rest of you doesn't mean..."
Or "I played this as a child and I turned out fine"
