There is a bug in what threads are marked new. I don't know how it came to be but the post More features to Hold Selection by Vike91 10:21 AM will not turn off it's new marking. However, after hitting mark all posts read it changed.

I debated on whether or not to post this as a separate issue, but I'm guessing they might be related, so I'll stick this here...

Lately, I've been noticing that sometimes a forum will show the icon for having unread posts on the main page, but when I drill down to that forum, every thread shows up as being completely read. When I go back to the top level, and refresh, the forum still shows that it has unread messages.

Right now, I see the issue for the Feature Requests forum. Also, the main forum page lists this as the most recent post in the Feature Requests board:

However, I don't see that post in the Feature Requests board, or when I search for posts made by Schik. Could it possibly be something that occurs when a post is deleted?

May I second asmussen's post? I've had exactly the same experience today. Not a major issue, but perhaps a sign that all is not as it should be with the innards of the site.
